We went on boat and sailing tours, horseback riding and bike excursions!
Together with my colleagues I accompanied the students to Policoro for the eighth grade educational trip. The experience was very positive; the students did many sports activities with qualified, professional and patient instructors. We teachers were pampered by Mr. Sigismondo and all the staff. We will definitely return to the Lucanian sailing club in Policoro.

I'm a 13 year old girl, I came here with my family and friends. It was a beautiful and fun experience. clean and hospitable bungalows, and helpful and super friendly staff (mario I'll take you to 🫶🏻). wonderful place that allowed me to enjoy my holiday even more. The experiences outside the village are also fantastic, such as the sailing trip where you are in contact with the water and are very likely to see marine animals and dolphins, or the horseback ride, a unique experience.
A unique experience of its kind from an educational, sporting, cultural and educational point of view. Recommended for all school groups of all levels and for all ages including teachers and chaperones.

We had fun but unfortunately we can always improve on the hygiene issue of the rooms.
I would recommend not using plastic cutlery in the canteen because they break and due to a few splinters of plastic you are forced to change plates, which is not always possible.
The Lucano sailing club in Policoro hosted my two children aged 13 and 12 for 15 days during a summer centre.
After an initial moment of nostalgia on the part of one of us, things went very well, so much so that we ended up in tears when it was time to go home because they didn't want it to end. And they made us promise to return next year too.
The structure is simple and well suited to the path offered to children. Lots of sport, sailing, mountain biking, horse riding.... But also civic sense and respect for nature. Just some of the activities proposed.
Fair rules to be respected have contributed to their growth.
A special thank you to the staff, who are attentive to the needs of the children at all times.
